Let me start with what I don’t believe works: gatekeeping.
Maybe I have a strong library of listing video ideas. Maybe you’ve figured out Facebook ads that actually convert buyers. Why wouldn’t we share that knowledge and strengthen each other’s businesses?
The idea that we’re “competing in the same market” doesn’t hold much weight here. There is more than enough business to go around—and our agents are spread across the U.S. and Canada, which naturally creates more collaboration and referral opportunities, not fewer.
Inside Powerhouse, our goal is simple: to help every agent grow from brand new to business builder.
And at eXp Realty, every agent operates on the same split and cap—regardless of production, experience, or tenure. No hierarchy. No gatekeeping. Just aligned incentives, shared growth, and a community built on collaboration.
The Basics:
80/20 commission split
$16,000 company cap, then $250 transaction fee
$149 start up fee (includes first month Cloud Brokerage fee)
$85/mo Cloud Brokerage fee
$40 risk management fee with $500 annual cap (may vary by state)
$25 broker review per transaction
and NO “franchise fee” !
